My dealer told me that they are dropping the 450 models. He didn't know anything about updates to other ones. He also said that there are rumors of a snowmobile coming from Honda. Don't know if there is any truth to it but that's what he said. Time will tell. rooster

It will be a sad day when Honda's largest semi-auto foot shift is a 350. (without a speedo) Not everyone wants a automatic or ES. I wish Honda would just tell us what the 2005 models will be. So I can go out and buy a Suzuki. I'm simply tired of the waiting game. Today, tomorrow or next month, what's the difference?
Why does it seem like Honda is going in the wrong direction? While other companies are going in the right directions? Maybe something is lost in the translations?
(English to Japanese) -- Wakaru?

wait wait.. honda's going in the wrong direction? hrm.. So who IS going in the right direction, yamaha, ktm, kawasaki, suzuki? Yeah right buddy.. So far kawasaki and suzuki and just intertwining their models, they haven't stepped up with nothing. Yamaha was first to get their bike out, but guess where they messed up? They put a dirt bike motor into a quad, honda accually spent R&D on their motor and made it into a QUAD motor, split the the tranny/clutch oils, put steel valves, brought the compression down a little bit, added a 3rd ring to their piston, made stronger internals while also changing them to take the abuse of a 350lb quad. Unlike yamacrap who used the same motor from the last 6 years of their dirtbikes! Couldn't they come up with something new?!

Hey sm0k3d. It's obvious that you are talking about the new Honda 450. I have heard quite a few complaints about that engine, like they are not all that reliable(grenading). And if Honda is so on top of things, why is that YFZ spanking the Honda? I don't see Honda with a V-twin, or a vertical twin, for that matter. The Rincon?, come on, that things a joke. Yeah it rides plush, but what else can it do? Honda has not been a leadser in the ATV industry for a few years. Don't get me wrong, I am not a Honda basher. I have been a loyal Honda buyer for years(13 different models over the years), and I almost bought a Rincon, and I'm so glad I didn't. If Honda wants anyone like me to buy their product, they are going to have start leading the industry, or get out of the way..........
