Default White Brothers "E" series

Recently added a WB "E" series slip on with K&N no airbox lid and re-jetted. Really like the results, lots more low end and crisper throttle response. Now I am hearing of lots of problems with the "E" series cracking.. Anyone else having this problem and how is your "E" series holding up.

Both of ours have broken and re-welded. If you bought it already just run it and keep and eye on it. If it brakes get it welded.

They're cracking where the pipe meets the silencer. I will buy one of those if they fix that problem.

They both broke on the end of the pipe where the header goes into it. It is the end plate not a weld. One of our pipes has a brace across that part and the other doesn't. They are about 6 months apart in age and the newer one got the brace. It lasted longer but not by much.

Mine cracked. I put some high-temp epoxy around where the pipe meets the silencer. It's held for the last 8 months or so.

If it was me, I'd go ahead and brace yours before it cracks. Might save some headaches down the road.

Thanks for all the info. I will try bracing for now and see what happens.
