Upgrades for 400ex
#11
Ive been riding it stock for a couple weeks, I need more power. I dont think the 400ex has enough power. Hopefully with a full upgrades it will have some more power but it will never have enough. At least for me anyways.

Sell it and get a new 450 or Pred or even wait and see if Honda has a 650EX and that should be enough power. But if for some reason that's not powerful enough get a Rocket ship then strap some wheels to it and kiss your A$$ goodbye. LOL

Or maybe you just suck at riding and think you need more power when you don't, you just need to learn how to use the power that it does have.
I've seen so many people buy these new machines and start putting thousands of dollars in upgrades into it and complain they don't have enough power. #1 Learn to use the power provided, its there you just have to know how to use it. #2 If you bought this machine and already want upgrades for it, then why didn't you just buy a faster machine to begin with. #3 If this machine "will never have enough power for you", then why waste time and money on upgrades and just get something that will have enough power for you.

Calm down buddy.......... I think you also need to ride it more or do some trails and see if you really need more. Theres been times when i think i need more power but theres been a few times where i can't hardly hold onto the bars cause its setting me back so hard on the trails. Those few times keep me from modding it.

let him do whatever the hell he wants with HIS quad. honda400rider all he wanted to know was what to add to his quad to make it have more power and u have to start giving him $h!t about it. god man u need to seriously grow up. dont say some one sucks at riding if u have never seen them ride. for all we know u could be the worst rider out there and u have to bash people just to make urself think u r a good rider.

WOW intense in here.
I put a Sparks X-6 on mine, I like it alot better than the big gun I had on the bike first.. The big gun fell apart after about 5 months or so. I also have the motor bored and the hot cam, big difference than stock. IF you have the money invest what you want. ITs fun and you can learn alot about your bike and what it can and cant do. Make sure you know that while investing money into it.
Have fun!!
