As a recent new owner of an 04 Foreman S and wanting to wrench as much as I can, which is the best guide out there? I've done and would try probably anything short of a transmission rebuild.
thanks

I would get a Clymer manual i have one for a 2003 Rubicon that we use at the farm. I have ordered one for my 250R and my new 450R. I think thats how u spell the name of the manual

I don't believe Clymer has a manual out yet for the 04's yet. I ended up buying a factory service manual from HondaPartsWorld for about $45. It will tell you how to do *anything* you want to do to that Foreman.

Clymer is correct .. I have one for my Warrior and it seems pretty good. I just wish they pointed out the different bolt sizes and crap like that ya know?? I mean someone put in the time to write the manual .. would it take that much more time to indicate the size of wrench required??? But then .. the yammie service manual is no better for that part ..

Would certainly recommend getting the mfg. service manual though if you can get it. It's the one the honda mechanics use for their work, so it aught to be good!! I've got one on my laptop for the Warrior, which is good cuz I can't seem to find my Clymer manual !!

The same day we purchased our Honda ATVs, I also purchased Honda Factory repair Manuals. Who knows more? Unless they are just copies of Honda manuals.
