Here's some numbers for you. These are all completely stock bikes run on the same straightaway, by the same rider, within two hours time, and were read by two of the same radar guns for acuracy.

So.......depending on the type of exhaust he is using, the air temprature, overall condition of the engine, and elevation issues if any..............................................a nything around 80mph would be a fair assumption.

A lot depends on gearing, as well. It probably has the HP to go 90+ in the right conditions, if you could get the right combination of sprockets, and on hard ground. If memory serves me (I used to be a bike guy) the CR250 with stock gearing would about push 80 or so.
I have seen more or less stock XR250s do almost 80 (the one I have right now will do 75+ under the right conditions) and I KNOW the CRs have at least 1/2 more HP, and less weight.
