Down 2 teeth on the front sprokcet is a lot...where are you riding? Down 2 teeth on the front would be like droping down to a 15 inch rear sprocket ruffly. Your topend will die. I'me urnning 18 inch tires with stock gearing which is just a little taller then drop 1 tooth. I hate that my top end is down so much but its not that bad because I dont use the wide opn all the time i'm usually in 4th wide open on the track. I wouldnt recommend going to a 13

i was considering the 13 tooth too terry, but i decided on the 14 instead, i am ordering it today form rocky mountain. The 13 is too low... 14 is pperfect. I am also getting that advanced timing key... BTW what do you think of your advance key from sparks??

I run a 13/39 combo when I go to the sand dunes, this combo gives me great bottom and mid which is about all that gets used out at the dunes.. It does take away alot of your top end, but as I mentioned, I dont use 5th gear much at the dunes.
