DARKMAN,
some adults like TRX and Troyer can see right thru you.The ONLY kids you have siding with you are just like you and have the same mentality as you.

Perhaps you are just to young, irresponsable, and immature to understand exactly the ill's of your wrong doings?Dont you understand that ATVers are usually perceived by the general uninformed public as nothing more than mud-slinging,dust raising, noisey, and inconciderate jerks on four wheels?Riders just like YOU are the reasons why average folks generally dont like ATVers.

We [ATVers] have the tree huggers against us.We have the doctors, lawyers, economist, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, ect ect ect against us..Everytime somebody like you does something illegal on their ATV,it just ADDS ammunition to an allready loaded arsonal AGAINST the betterment of our sport.

NATION-WIDE,our sport continues to have less riding area's to operate. Each year,it seems like more/more restrictions are applied to our sport, all in the name of folks that do things that they should'nt be doing on their quads.

Wake up son,its NOT to late to change.

Bill

darkman, i'm 16. and when i was a lil bit younger i used to make up these amazing stories and stick by them no matter what, so that i could get some attention. maybe when u get a lil more mature you'll start to be happy with yourself, or maybe you'll jus get better at riding so u can back up your stories. as for whoever it was that said they were gonna send the cops an e-mail with darkaman's info...even if u were serious, what the hell would that do??? u can't get in trouble for doing something illegal unless there's proof, or they catc u in the act. i could call the cops right now and send them a video that i have where my buddy is talkin about how he was doin 150 mph down the freeway on his way to vegas, and the cops can't do ne thing cuz that's not proof. anybody can say that they did 150mph down the freeway. if ur so adiment (spelling?) about following the law, make sure that u understand it completely first. as for running from the cops, that's ur decision. the only time that i've ever avoided a cop is when i was wheeling down the beach after one drove by, i turned around to see if my buddy was still behind me and i saw the cop turning around, so i turned off and went into the dunes. had he turned his lights on, or made any sign that he was coming for me, and not somebody else, i wouldn't have taken off. that lil incident scared me enough that i don't so wheelies on the beach during the weekends any more. my mom would take away my quad if i got a ticket for something like that, and to me its not worth it. of the punishment is worth the risk of running to you, then run, but don't sit here a bitch and argue with people who r telling you that u did the wrong thing, because that's part of the punishment, whether or not u got away from the cops.

o, and darkman, when was the last time u saw a 15 yr old who could actually take on a healthy adult??? ur bound for an *** whoopin dude, u need to learn to chill.

lol! This is crazy.
First of all, there have never been "more" places to ride prior to people outrunning the cops on their quads in any place I have ever heard of. There has never been a "quad land" riding ground besides a track. My point is, the people who make these laws are just average people like you and I. They are not smarter than anyone else. People do what they feel is right most of the time. That's an undeniable fact. If these so called law makers were so smart, they would have made
ATV's allowed on side public roads in the first place. If they were so smart, they would have realized people have to get from one place
to another in something other than a truck or car at times. Especially people who live out in the country, like farmers for example. If they had looked at the whole picture and set their ego's aside, they would have known these things were bound to happen. Going back to the point I was trying to make, there is no GOOD reason to keep an ATV off of a public side road. Give it the example same "rules" as any other vehicle out there and these problems would be "minimal." Now, the only problem you'd have besides that are the problems you will have with ANY OTHER vehicle that is on the road. People can speed, whip sh!tties, do burnouts and so on. Look at the entire picture here.
If safety is a concern, well then you should ban tractors, motorcycles and mopeds from using the road as well. If road chaos is a concern, there isn't a darn thing you can do about it. Cars wreak havoc constantly, as can motorcycles or any other vehicle on the road. If head on collisions are a concern, then again, ban motorcycles and mopeds from the roads. There isn't a thing that can be done about it. Granted, I wouldn't want to be on a quad and get hit by someone. But then again under some circumstances, it would be a bit safer than for example, a motorcycle or a moped. Regardless of what people want to think is right, they are usually wrong or inaccurate on some way.
I mean, get serious here. An air bag is a "safety" feature. But it can also do more harm than hood considering how sensative your face is.

So there

Crobiker,
I know what the law is,im not 16 yrs old.

If you read DARKMANs original post,he openly admits that he was STOPPED and had CONVERSATION with a law enforcement officer BEFORE he decided to run.

This means that the actual officer at the scence should be able to identify this kid?And by providing copies and this web address site to a few of the New Orleans local Police Departments,im sure they will be discussing this forum topic in their shift meetings before the officers actually hit their shifts for duty. And with the info that darkman has in his profile, they should be able to track this thug down pretty easily.

Would'nt it just be GREAT to see the officer that stopped this kid be able to ID him as the perp and arrest him?

Bill

I don't care if you think atv's should be on the road. The cops won't care either. So don't run from them, pull over and talk respectfully to them. Doing anything else is not in your best interest whether you are right or not. Remember if you run it is felony evasion punishable by 10 years in jail. So if you do run you might end up somebody's bed bitch.

Have fun.

PIMP,
if YOU were so smart, when YOUR lawmakers were in the PROCESS of making it against the law to ride your ''side roads''with a quad,WHY did'nt YOU go and talk to one of your Senators or local State Representives to oppose this?I mean before a law can be made,it must first be served as a ''bill'' first.

Sure seems to me that somebody who comes off as a smart guy like YOU,would know what proper steps are needed to oppose this.

Track him down and arrest him? No, not cool. DarkMan obviously has an opinion about what he thinks is right
and he feels the need to voice it. This is no more than general human conflict based on opinion. Some guy says he
can't ride on the road, he says he should be able to. What's the result? Things like this. This is common knowledge here, it's
the way things have been since the beginning of time. So he was pulled over, the cop obviously wanted to arrest him and DarkMan
saw no reason to be arrested so he took off. One man's opinion versus the other. And don't suck up and attack someone's age either,
that's very very weak in a debate. That comment wasn't pointed to anyone directly.

Talk 2 his lawmakers??? This trick can't even spell his name. He'll be in some homemade daisy dukes soon enough. He's hard until he gets a bunky with an eye for dough boys. Then he'll get passed around from cell to cell for a pack of smokes.
