for not knowing what the kodiak performs like since i have not ridden one i would not know....

i do know that my neighbors rancher did go through water up past the fenders without stalling ... i dont know how...but it did....i also feel that any situation we put the rancher in it had enough low end power along with good top end power....

again i have never ridden the kodiak so i cannot compare but them are my thoughts on the rancher...
