get the quad that best suits your riding needs.. A 400ex is only faster than a warrior if the rider on the warrior is better than the other rider.
Ride both, see which ones is more confortable, and best suits your riding style.
For example: If you like to jump most people would say "Go with the 400" well it obviously has better suspension. However, maybe you feel more stable in the air on a warrior. It's all personal preferance.
My friend has a warrior that is better than my 400..... Better for him... But my 400 is better than his warrior.... better for me..
see what i am saying??? so using other people's opinions isn't such a great idea when buying an ATV.

absolutely do not buy a warrior. They are not even in the same class as a 400ex. A 400ex is a 250R w/ a four stroke motor. Later on when you get good at riding you will be wanting to put money into your quad. 400ex=Performance as a warrior= farm bike. Want reverse? get off your lazy a$$ and pull. A warrior also jumps like a whale as a 400ex is gracefull

Just don't get held up on the reverse issue. It's really not an issue. Think about it, which way will you be doing 99.9% of your riding, forward or backwards?
Furthermore, I do agree with everything C400EX1234 said, however, look at the paper aspect of the two quads. [RED]400 (397)cc[/RED]vs. [BLUE]350 (348)cc[/BLUE], [RED]better suspension[/RED] vs. [BLUE]ok suspension[/BLUE], [RED]awesome tires and wheels[/RED] vs. [BLUE]ok tires and wheels[/BLUE], [RED]374.7 lbs.[/RED] vs. [BLUE]397 lbs[/BLUE].
My point is, its not comparing apples to apples. I too was in a similar decision making dilemma and I chose the 400EX. I hadn't ridden either of the machines for comparison; I simply compared them on paper. Maybe I am not giving the Warrior it's due attention. It's a good quad, look how long it's been around. I just think there are better quads to choose from now.

If you already have a banshee like your name says. And if you are looking for a second bike
both are good bikes but there is one thing the warrior has that the 400 dosent. The warroir has been around longer so you can find one cheaper. If you are gonna get this thing to ride around with get the warrior. If you plan on doing anykind of serious riding get the 400.

The 400EX turns so sharp that in most situations you'll be able to avoid needing reverse anyway. You'll be able to figure out ways of turning around without needing reverse. I used to drive a Grizzly and was always backing out of something. I don't have near the same need for reverse with the 400EX.
