Rubicon POLL.
well after posting this poll i notest that i have a slight oil leak.
so i took it in to the shop on saterday and thay said it was coverd under the 6 month warrenty so that makes me feel better.
he said it looks like the valve cover might be leaking.
I guess nobody else has anything good or bad to say about the rubicon.

Rubicon POLL.
i have a 02 rubicon 1700 miles, runs great, no major problems, just a bad front shock that i replaced, and now the rear brake foot lever is getting hard to use. wont spring back up. i do all of the service myself. this quad has been to heck and back. i did put 25" gators on it and they are good tires but i will have to say that the stock dirt hooks were a very good trail tire. overall a great atv.

Rubicon POLL.
Have a 2001 with 1,200 miles. I do my own maintenance. It is a solid unit.
I have seen other Rubies out in the trails that have over 10,000 miles on them with no problems.
The key to reliability and long term survival is maintenance. Take your time and find an honest mechanic and not a grease monkey...... The units that have trouble and that is with any brand is riders abuse their machines. The other day my friend was saying someone on a Honda was complaing about his ATV that it is junk and kept on stalling after he went through a river with water coming over his seat. Come on it is an ATV and not a submarine.
I looking forward to find out the cost of the traxlock that comes standard with the 2005 unit so I can have 2 wheel drive.
Bottom line if you take care of your ATV I am sure it be trouble free for many years.
