i want to put teh powroll bore and stroke into my 400ex what i want to know is if anyone is running this how they like it if it is at all unreliable and how much more power will it have i am planning on getting a cam new pipe and carb soon so take that into consideration thank you

 

WHY?ISNT IT FAST ENOUGH SEMI-STOCK???

 

i have that set up it is over a year old no problems, still need to do the carb, but have seen that set up and it is fast. it a great set up.

 

hi i have put a big bore kit, proformance cam ported and polished the head and got proformance valves and my i have had nothing but problems out of it the piston it hitting the valves alot and i set the valves right and i also set the timing and i cant find the problem with it

I have that kit. It is a very good way to go. I have a 450-451 cam from web. It is a low end cam with alot of torque, but isn't the fastest quad out there. If I had a faster cam it would be faster but I got the "WOODS MONSTER" I paid for.

maybe the piston needs to reshaped for the larger valves?
