How hard can i be on a 400ex?
#1
Hey, i have a 400ex. Im trieng to do a wheelie, but i feel like im over rapping the motor. I have slipped the clutch a couple times while trieng to shift when doing my wheelie? I don't want to burn it up? How far can you rap it out? Can you just hammer it all the way down, and shift real quick, is that hard on it?

if u wan't to blow it up goahead, a 400ex should stand up with a litle bleep of the throttle, you shouldn't have to rev it thorough the roof, try putting one knee on the seat the other foot on the break and lean back a litle,,,,,,

i out my right foot on the grab bar give it some gas lean back in first get it up shift into second and i can pretty much do anything it took me a while to learn how to get it just practice for a couple of hours

It has a rev-limitter. You can not hurt it, till you go past the limitter. On flat ground that will be almost impossible. Keep up the wheelie practice, you'll get it.

It's a Honda..you could never change the oil, leave it in the rain/snow/hail.. and beat the living crap out of it..and it'll still be running in 15 years.( <<<<<personal experience BTW)

like tractorpacker said you can't blow it up, but constantly hitting the rev limiter IS going to make it not last as long as if you hadnt
^holy crap i dont knwo how else to phrase that hope you get it
