Yea ,this absolutly SUCKS not being able to ride !!!!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]Im gonna miss flat tracking at our local indoor arena. Oh well...What do ya do ???!!!I probably will just have it dynoed .

on my 11:1 426 with the air box lid on and at 625 feet above sea level i run:


keihin 158 mainjet
4th needle clip position
42 pilot jet
approximately 2.75 turns out on the fuel screw

the smaller you go, the more top speed you will have. just don't go too small so you fry your engine. the more motor you have doesn't always mean a larger mainjet. however, more fuel can be pulled through that same mainjet sometimes because of the more powerful motor.

Geez...Im learning new things every day .Ill try that ,just go down a size at a time ,and see which one gives me the best performance .

Most common mistake people make is that they need to go so much bigger... Most things you do to make anything just a little better than stock will more than likely be happy with proper jettings on a stocker for your area. Your engine doesn't like too much gas just like it doesn't like to little...

if you are going to leave your airbox lid off after putting in the 440 kit would your jetting change? or would it be around 158 as well
