Hey everybody, you've got a really cool forum here. Just thought I would give a few thoughts on the Honda Rancher 4x4 ES that I've owned for about 7 months (out of warranty!). I have just over 600 miles and 65 hours on this machine, and let me just say it has been fabulous. Absolutely unbelivable power and FUN, FUN, FUN!! I put a Warn 2000k winch on it last month and have been stuck twice since, and let me tell you, that thing will freakin PULL!! The most strenuous thing my bike has done was to haul 7 50lb sacks of cubes out to my heifers. I thought she was gonna flip over backwards once, so I had to take 2 sacks off!! If anybody out there is considering buying a new quad, I would highly recommend you to check out the new rancher. I guarantee you will not be dissapointed!

the rancher is the big red of the 00's. The two most heavy loads my 1984 big red 200es has hauled is a 1,000 pound elk out of the woods, yep, all 1K pounds on the rear rack (that bent) and also one tire exploded. we had one person sit on the front rack to keep the front end down! The other is we use it to back out 25' terry travel trailler into the shop, around 800 pounds toung weight! can we say H O N D A?

Hey Cartman, didn't know you had a Rancher. Got a 4X4 Rancher myself for woods riding. It is amazing how fast it will travel the woods trails, cause it handles so well. I had a Wolverine before & the Rancher is way faster on the trails!
