I found two TRX300 2x4's for sale privately:

a 1991 for $2800 CDN ($1900 US)
a 1995 for $3400 CDN ($2250 US)

I called about them and they are said to be in excellent condition. Is the TRX300 a good machine? Is the price right? Which one should i buy. I don't really want to spend twice the money on a new TRX350.

Considering my brother just sold his '93 3004x4 for $3000 (US), I'd say those are a pretty good deal. His had larger tires on it and a few accessories, but he could have easily sold it bone-stock for $2800. They are the most reliable, toughest machine you can buy. A little lacking in power (compared to today's big-bore quads), but it always got the job done for us.

 

Around here 95 Honda 300's sell for around $2600 -$2800.00 for the 2 wheel drive. I would say that's an fair deal. The 4X4's sell for about 6 to 800 more.
