How do you get a 450R to start in the winter?

i jus hit the gas once or twice and pull in the choke, it'll start within 3 kicks. what's really nice is when it's 95 degrees, and to fire it up for the first time in 3 weeks i had the choke out, and hot start pulled in, and it fired on the first kick. damn that felt good!

I've owned honda's for years, and first thing you do if it's 20 deg. or lower is get on and rock bike back and forth, just a little, not violently or anything, for 10 seconds. This separates the air bubbles out of the fuel in the bowl so that the carb can pickup fuel better. With the choke on, it should just start. If it isn't than you need to increase your pilot jet size accordingly. I'd suggest 1 size at a time.
