...Speaking of wheel spacers
#1
The rear mud-shark tires I bought for my EX were each two inches wider than my stock tires. Therefore it was pretty much like adding two inch extensions to the rear, on top of 400EXs have relatively wide rear ends as is. I was looking into some front end spacers but I have heard that if you get too extreme with them they are bad for you front end and have a tendency to ruin hubs. I was wondering if you guys knew what size I could get which would allow me to go wider and not have to worry about damage with a lot of jumping and wheelies. I was thinking 1- 1.5 extensions for each side but I figured I would run the idea through you guys to get some opinions on the idea… and yes I’m sure I don’t want to buy new a-arms for a friggan grand. P.S. Hoping to get a GOOD quality set only for hopefully under 150..

Yeah i would not recommond the wheel spacers i was looking at them for my quad and everything i heard was bad things that will happen to your quad break crap left and right and even more if you hit jumps ride hard and wheelie. It is worth the money for the new a-arms and like Ntrx250J said you can get some on ebay at a good price. I would start looking there and take it from there. I plan on some a-arms down the road along with an axle. Dont be cheap cuz in the end you'll spend more money buying new parts because of the spacers.

thats still alot of money and im rather hesetant buyin Used or "discount" products on e-bay because you have no idea of their condition besides just a few pictures if your lucky... From the sounds of it i would be alot better off just leaving it right as it is and not frigging with the spacers, agreed?

Yeah that sounds good, my friend has a 400ex with Mud sharks too and no spacers or nothing in the front and it rides fine. Won't want to mess anything up on your quad anyways.
