Rubicon Aluminum Rims
#1
How do the aluminum rims hold up compared to the steel wheels. I have a chance to buy a set of aluminum rims and tires for my Rancher. I have beat up the steel rims pretty good at Tower City Pa and wounder how they will hold up.

my rubicon has them and im very happy with them.
when i first got them i put a mark on them with the stock tires but since i put the bigger tires on i havent done any damage to them.
the wider tire protects them from damage because the tire takes the bashing and not the rim.
and i ride mine pretty hard and through alot of rocky terrand and mud and i havent any trouble with the rims.
if the price is right go for it.
the aluminum rims weigh about half the weight of the steel rims so youll gane a bit of power with them also.
