I am thinking about getting some new tires, and i am leaning toward the klaws. For those who are using them, how do you like them? Have any complaints about them? What size are you using? I am thinking about getting the 18x10.5x9, and the 20x6x10 up front. I can get all 4 tires from rockymountain atv for $198.47 shipped, not to bad. I mostly trail ride and drag race in gravel pits with some sand, wooded trails, hills etc. but not much mud. Also if i go with the 18 on the rear, will a 36 tooth rear sprocket bring me back close to stock gearing? Thanks alot ahead of time. Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, would the 20x10x9 or 20x10x10 be better for my type of ridding? The only thing i am worried about with getting new tires is the wieght. The stock 400ex tires are really lite, and that helps out alot when drag racing, i just dont want to get a tire that weighs alot and that will slow my bike down in acceleration. Has anyone tried the new holshot xrc's? It says that they are designed for the littler 4 strokes like the 400's, and that they are lighter then the normal holshot.

They are great for mud and snow. Work great also for loose gravel. Don't work very well for hard-packed sand, dirt or grass. I got 'em on my Rincon and had them on my Foreman too.

Are you talkin about the klaws or the bear claws, bc the biggest size made for the klaw is a 22x11x10. And in my last post i ment 20x11x9 or 20x11x10.

Hey NCguy, Stick with a 20 inch tire if you ride the trails or prepare to buy a new skidplate. I have heard good things about the kendas.

I put the klaw XC's on my 250R all around. 20x11x9 on back and 22x7x10 on the front. They hook up every where and on any thing (ex ice). $198.47 is why to high. I sell them local here at the shop mounted $55.00 for the 20x11x9 and $45.00 for the 22x7x10. Shop around you can get a better price.

I have used the XCR, XCT, Razor and Razor2 on my 250R and I liked the Klaw's a lot better.
I'm mostley a woods rider and for what I do they do the job just fine.

Thanks for the reply, at rockymountain atv i found the rear tires (20x11x9) for $44.99 a peice, and for the front tires (21x7x10) they are $37.99 a peice. And after shipping they are 215.71. I have access to a tire machine so i can get the tires mounted for free. So far this is the cheapest i have been able to find these tires.

Go to one of your local shops and show them the add. Most shops will match Rocky Mountain adds. Then that way If you have a bad tire the shop will take care of it. If not you will have to pay shipping back and then back again.
