My 2000 Recon died on the trails last night. The only way it would start was with the choke all the way out and at full throttle. Motor was hot. Any ideas as to what went wrong all the sudden?

If the only way it will start is with the choke all the way out, then your engine isn't getting enough fuel the normal way. Most likely dirt or obstruction in the carb jets. You should remove & clean carb, but I've seen a few folks get lucky by opening the carb drain, turning on the fuel & working the throttle. What your doing is trying to flush that piece of dirt, grass, whatever, out of the carb. Good Luck!
