400EX TopSpeed?

riderrrrrr you should be as its a fine machine, but it is what it is (so are all the other models too) and does what it does etc, and your just not going to find many other riders who will be jumping on the 70+ mph stock wagon.
Actually even though mine is so much better and faster (top speed, acceleration, handling etc etc etc) than it was stock the difference is stupid, but I honestly couldnt care one bit about top speed because it really doesnt matter.
Maybe this will help some SPENDING TIME ON TOP SPEED WORRIES IS A WASTE OF TIME!!!
Dont misunderstand me either as I loved this thing even stock. I think I even hurt myself from smiling too much the first time I rode it and couldnt believe the difference and improvement from the warrior I had before it, but still I like "my 440" much more than the one honda made, and still couldnt care what its top speed was stock, or even now as long as its able to hold its own out on the trails (where most people ride anyhow) and its still able to do that till this day.
Also one last thing is if any of you are really all that concerned about top speed then swap out your sprockets to a 16t front, and a 36t or 38t rear (the 38 will not fit any skid plate I know of). It will kill accereration but keep you off the limiter on the top and therefore increase the top end. You just will have to give it the power to pull the gearing.
This thread isnt making any sense to me one bit anymore so I am going to unsubscribe etc, but will be looking for the "whats the top acceleration of a 400ex" and "what suspension mods will make my 400ex faster" threads [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
