whats top speed on my250ex
So if the sleds speedometer is OFF (which i dont believe it is), why would my TRAIL TECH be off!!
Like i said before.. My trail tech is set up right, with wheel size and everything. Even the distance reads properly. I took my truck and drove a mile straight in my field and then drove my quad, it also read a mile. SO if the odometer works why would the speedomter be off.
Even my dealer, from WoodsMen Power Products, his name is Sylvester, we call him Syl.
ANyway i know him personally, i work with his wife and went to college with his son. He gave a me a great deal on the 250 and even told me that when i want a 400x he can get me one at a great price.
Anyway Syl even told me that the top speed on the 250 is about 52-55 all depending on the riders weight, air temp, tire preesure, etc... but its not impossible to get it up higher.
Now what your saying is that it Wont do 59 or 60 whatever. So no matter what all these varaibles add up to, you cant do it!! Yeah right.. anything is possible.
You have to tak in all those Variables,
Oil Weight whether your runing 5 or 10 weight.
Air temp so the enginge is getting enuff air and its not heating up too fast
Tire type, aggressive mud tires, road slicks, or sand tires, too many to name.
Tire pressure, of course the more pressure you have the faster you will go, but best not hit anything or PoP!
Rider wieght..heaveir the rider, the harder it is to get top speed.. or is it.
Gas type.. are u running eathonal fuel, non oxy. 87, 89, or 92.. it all makes a difference.
Mods on the quad, like nerfs, bumpers, etc that make it heavier!!
Air filter.. is it clean, new old, is it a special performance one.
Exhaust, is it stock, spark arrester, etc..
Carbs, are they jeted, whats the air to fuel ration. Whats the High Alititude set at.
SO many varibales, now your saying that is the stock speed is about 52-55, that theres still no way to make a 250ex go 59, your full of it. Thats just a little 3-5 mile an hour difference, now all those variables do make a big difference.

If me Getting a 400ex is SO IMPORTANT to you, why dont you GIVE me the $5799 For it!!
Otherwise shut the heck up.
Yes the 400ex is a great quad... and i plan on ADDING one to my collection in a few years.
But for now.. i like my 250ex, trail riding, hitting the track, and doing wheelies.
Plus man... at Least its still a HONDA.. and Honda Rulz.
