I think they are outdated as most Honda products are.

They aren't back, thats just the 2000 model(the last year they were made). I wonder why anyone would have bought a 300 over a rancher in 2000 (same msrp) except for reliability.

Honda products outdated? Hmmmmm. Maybe.

Maybe that's why the only time you see a Polaris at Glamis it's riding around the perimeter of the dunes 'cause it's so over weight and bad handling it can't go out there and stay with the Banshees, 250R's and the Suzukis.

I'll ride outdated anytime.

Anyone who owns both a Poopalaris and a Yamajunk shouldn't talk about being outdated, especially in the Honda forum. In other words- go some where else, no one here wants your opinion!

Yamaha and Polaris just happen to be the two most innovative quad builders Einstein. Honda is building quads with 80s technology. How many quads does Honda build that you can go from 2-4 wheel drive? Oh yeah, none.

True, but Polaris is still the least reliable quad available. (heck EVER made) I hope you like constantly buying new parts and working on them because you will get lots of practice even when they're relatively new.

CT250R...1994 Polaris Sport 400L (blew up at 8 months...GONE now)

.........1996 Polaris Sport 400L ( Piston disintegrated at 7 months.......Gone now too)

1988 250R, 1986 250R both STILL run great.

Yamajunk and Poopalaris? Don't forget Susucki, Ski-don't, and Arctic Crap!!!! Why does that Poopalaris dude keep coming into the Honda forum? I'm sure he doesn't want to admit that he made the biggest mistake of his life by buying a Polarass.

So go to the Polaris forum and brag about them. For the kind of riding I do, Polaris really sucks, BIG TIME!

I just don't get why people gotta come to the Honda forum and bad-mouth Honda. I, for one, never go to their forums 'cause I own Honda.

As far as 4WD goes, I don't really give a dead rats ***. I don't need it. I don't need reverse either. I don't need an electric start, I'm old, but not so outa shape that I can't kick start a motor.

When Polaris builds a machine that can hang with all the out-dated Hondas in handling, performance, etc., maybe I'll take them seriously. As far as I'm concerned, they either build farm implements or beginner machines.

Boy, Let's not forget how far ahead of the game Polaris is. That 2wd-4wd switch is a technological break through. It ranks right up there with the 60's style snowmobile clutch. Wow, Polaris innovators!!!

I hate to bash any make But you asked for it QuadFather
