Hey im 15 and ready to turn 16 i want to get a motorcycle and was wondering about a motorcycle permit. Can i get it when i turn 16 or do i have to have my regular license first and what are the what are the guidlines for a motorcycle permit? I know you can only ride sunrise to sunset. By the way i live in PA.

 

when u get ur drivers license u can go for ur motorcycle permit. thats what i was told in my drivers ed class

 

Here in NC if you have your permit you can only ride one that is below 600cc, I am not sure if that includes 600cc or not but that is some thing to consider. If you are going to get your license soon or go by the DMV often just stop by and get a book or ask someone there for some information.

 

here u can get a motorcycle license when ur 14..just nothing over 250cc..i dunno about if u can ride bigger when ur 16..and i know u gotta be 18 to ride a passanger
