This is snorkel installation week for my Rancher. I do want the snorkel to be concealed and to have it exit out behind the black plastic between the handle-bars. I've got about 5' of clear, oval, tubing and some marine silicone sealent. What I'm thinking about is stuffing a 4" length of 1.5" grey PVC into my factory airbox grommet. Maybe running a piece of radiator hose in an "S" and going forward from there running 1 1/4" clear oval tubing up to the handle-bar pod. How do you think this will work? Some concerns are the water-tightness of the connection at the airbox and being able to get a good seal at each joint. Please give me some suggestions and feedback. Any and all ideas will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
