Default TRX250R VS All 4 Strokes!

how do you think my trx500r will stand against the kawi v-force. my buddy seems to think it will beat me but i have other ideas!!

Wherever I ride the 250r's are fast. my god they have a six speed transmission at least 80 hp every type of performance part that could be made in the last 20 years. Clutches, sproket,s cranks, pistons, heads ,valves carbs, transmission. hell everything on the 250r can be replaced with something designed for full race right out of a mag.

Do they have any aftermarket transmissions that have 5 or 7 speeds?

i have an 85r atc (ct 310) and i really only worry about banshees with a 370 or better. but i know that some of the 450's are getting up there. i also raced a rapter (pipe and jetted) with a stock banshee in the street in mexico (full throttle) and stood at the same speed as the rappy. so i kinda lost some respect for the 660. but the 450r has a big bore 520 out (i think) that will be a monster, or should be

All I know is banshees and r's are the fastest in the parking lot where I ride. In the woods it doesn't matter though. lol.

I have a 05 predator pp exhaust and k&n and a honda 250r with 30 over and coolheads dome piston, full fmf pipe, k&N filter a few other mods and my 250r is alot faster than the pred. the pred pulls better catwalks but in a drag i dont even think it would be close. I still love the pred alot better over all.

Are the Rad Valves are to install???? do they cost alot????

In a stock back shock on a trx250r 1986 if i put a tire gauge on the res for the shock how much pis should i get?
what should i set it at?

Rad valves are easy to install and cost about $125 from a dealer who buys large quantites at a lower price. Its only 6 bolts that connect to the back of the jug but you have to take the carb off to get to it. Cant help you with the shock ?

NEVER EVER EVER EVER fill your shocks with compressed air. they are to be filled with nitrogen!!!! compressed air doesnt have the ability to cool the shock like nitrogen does!!!! take your rear shock off and take it to a shop. they should be able to tell you if it needs to be rebuild or if it just needs adjusting!!!!

The 400ex and 250r have roughly the same top speed, but the 250r accelerates a h311 of alot quicker. In a drag race on pavement the 250r woukd be completely wound out at top speed before the 400ex shifted into 5th. Plus the 250r would smoke the 400ex on any race track.

No NO NO... i did not put air in the shock... i have nitro.. just wanna no how much i should have in there?
i can fill it myself!
