Default 416EX vs 600cc motorcycle

1999 Honda 416EX with mods in the sig vs a 2000 something Honda VTX600 or Shadow not sure which but had Vance and Hines exhaust.

Run 1 roll from 10 Mph. The 416 took the lead till around 60 then the cycle slowly creaped by and was pulling away at 75 Mph.
Run 2 roll from 30 Mph. The 416 took the lead again but this time I didn't get passed till 70 Mph.
Run 3 dead stop. The 416 again pulled on the bike and I hit top speed before the bike passed me. The guy on the bike said he started to reel me in around 80 - 83 Mph.

Top speed run for the 416, 82 Mph according to the bike speedo.

I did not kill the bike and the bike didn't kill me. We were usually within 2 bike lengths of each other until anything after 80 then the bike would continue to pull. Very respectable I think. I have ran 600cc sports bikes and well ... it wasn't a race at all.

The 416 needed another gear and could easily pull it.

The only mod not in the sig is that I had stock 300EX tires which gave me a slightly higher top speed than my regular tires.

Also, my quad seems to be running awesome. It feels more powerful now than it ever has before. I have owned my quad since I bought it new in Feb of 99 and I am constantly amazed at the things it can do.

You should have done a jumping contest. Then you would have won.
