How about doing yard work this summer? If you can do a good job, you can easily get $25-$50 per yard, depending on the size of the yard and what you do (mowing, weed eating, trimming hedges). You could easily do 2-3 yards a day and make from $50-150. It's hard, sweaty, backbreaking work, but it pays really well. You could also probably get $5-$15 for washing your neighbor's cars. It's summertime, and hardly anyone wants to go outside and wash their car in 100 degree heat. Your best bet for making money quickly is by doing something that noone else wants to do, and something that pays cash. Yeah, you could go get a job at a fast food restaurant or sacking groceries, but even if you work 30 hours a week, you're only going to be bringing home around $110/week. Heck, you could spend one day mowing yards and make that much.
