can anyone verify that honda has extended coverage on 00' ranchers because of a problem involving the ECU?

got some e-mail telling me about a problem with 00' ranchers involving pin placement and that the male and female pins have a problem matching up on connectors. just looking to confirm this because as you all know, my rancher "WON'T SHIFT"!!! thanks for the input and i'll keep you posted on my conquest to get my machine fixed. later - dana
