So they are all practically the same.

All ican say is if the polaris brad in so bad then why did all the co's copy them with autos. I have 3 polaris ab they all work great. For worst quad would say the one you have owned an had lots of problems with like the 01 Raptor. Rember too that Polaris is #2 for sells.

Hey RedNeck,
You say your Raptor breaks every two weeks?
"2002 Craptor 720r Drag quad"
Is this it, the one that has been bored out to 720 and is used for drag racing?
Maybe the breaking has more to do with the RedNeck that modified it than the original manufacturer.
Once you modify a machine, you really toss out any objective opinion about the quality of the original product.

I think it's kinda funny when people don't like a particular quad cause of it's looks or some other bias. I'd think the #1 factor in determining worst or best quad is simply the quality of the machine. All the bells and whistles in the world don't matter if you are constantly having to repair your ATV. Obviously taking care of your machine is probably the #1 factor in how many future repairs you might encounter. I'd be willing to guess that half of the problems we hear about on these forums are rider related and not manufacturer problems. The other half are probably legit.
I own two Bombardier's and have heard stuff like "those things always break down" "junk" etc.....I can't say I've had that experience, I had a sesnor go out on me once but that was cause I drove through some pretty deep water, so rider error there, sealed the new one so won't have that problem. Still, neither has ever left me stranded. Dead battery, blown tires, have caused a few inconveniences but those are hardly the fault of the manufacturer.
I was leary of Polaris cause of a couple of dealers I talked to that used to carry them said to be careful because they had more problems with them then any of the other brands they carried which is why they stopped carrying them.
