I have a Rancher At with 27" 589's and maxxis 4x4 wheels and when i get in the mud it does not turn the tires over good like a forman. It will turn them over really slow. The thicker the mud the worse it is. I love the machine all except for that. Is there any where you can find lower gears for it. It has the stock muffler and air filter. Will changing that help any? I like the big tires and also put a lift on it. I don't won't to go with smaller tires but i have got to do something. I have tried to find some gears for the front and rear ends but at my local Atv shop they said you could not get any. I'm open to anything to help me out. Help Please!!!

 

I never heard of changing gears in a 4x4 like that. I think it would be easier just to mod your quad to get more power to move those big tires around.

 

wow that bike has no torque to begin with, then to drop 27's on it? wow it must suck i'd be shocked it can even turn them, i seen my buddy stop spinning his wheels with the stockers on it,

lol whats the point of 27's when the wheels don't turn? anyway not much you can to up the performance of the machine without a major engine upgrade, the tranny in my opnion sucks alot of torque from it, you would have better luck with a 350 rancher or a bigger machine
