Default 2 part question: Best ATV for pulling...

What is the best atv for pulling and hauling?

If I put 26 inch tires on my 450 Foreman, how much power will I lose?

The forman 450 is probably the best puller out there. 26" tires will give you no noticeable difference in power, I put 27" Blackwater's on mine and I couldnt notice much difference, and they fit on stock rims, stock suspension with no rubbing issues at all.

I can't speak for others but my 400 Foreman pulls and hauls very well.I have pulled section horrows small trees an other wheelers with out much problem at all.Be careful and don't over do it like a freind of mine did,the rear end snapped on his 450 Foreman and he had to replace it.I told him these things are not tractors but he still wanted to pull a 15' or 20' green pine log that was approx 3' in dia with his wheeler. It didn't work out too good.

No, the new Foreman does not have a low range but the Rubicon does.

I am surprised it would be "the best" for pulling then.

Bomb traxter or a big Polaris. Both are big and heavy. Bomb is gear to gear and is better than any rubber band quad on the market for pulling. Some of the other big bore quads are heavy but they are rubber band quads. The one with the most weight wins.

i think the foremans 1st gear is still lower than the rubicons low gear................

Heavier isn't always better, weight will make a 4wheeler a turd.....
