i have a 2003 recon that i need help with when i put it into gear the quad moves without giving it gas and i have ajusted the automatic clutch and nothing changed and i know the idle is not too high. has anyone else had this problem are know if it can be fixed or could it be the friction plates.

 

Put the front end against a tree and burn the clutch some. Change the oil and use synthetic first. mobil 1 mx4t is my choice. I don't want to start an oil debate so use whatever you like but you need clean oil in it.

 

yep, if its a new cluch you need to burn it off a little should be fine after that
