Default Rancher 400 AT or Rubicon

Hey all..I'm thinking about buying one of the two above quads.
I've read alot of mixed reviews about the AT.
All I'm looking for is something to ride on the trails, snow etc.
My question is..Does the AT have enough power to push a plow or pull another stuck quad out?
I can get a great deal on left over 05's..5300 OTD for the Rancher AT or 6500 for the Rubicon.
Price isn't really a problem,I like the At because it's a bit smaller.
Any help would be great,Thanks.

heck, if price isnt a problem. Just get the rubicon. you will be kicking yourself later on if you dont. Im not saying the at isnt a great quad. the at was the other choice when i was buying but the drumb brakes killed the deal. But anyways, i would just get the ruby.

As I have said to many other people asking the same question, "BUY THE RUBY." This coming from an AT owner.

Can it push snow? sure it can. Can it pull out anothe stuck quad? I would have my doubts about that one.

I like the AT bacause it is smaller also. But if I had to do over again, I would have bought a Ruby.

Thanks for the help..decided on the Rubicon..but going to wait and test ride the 06..I hear it's alot like the CTE..except for the shocks.
By the way I tried to buy a Rubicon CTE..emailed 3 dealers in Canada..NO GO! Have to have a canadian address..so I'll wait for the 06..I couldn't win the case with my wife over the drive to canada!

Go to the Bombardier website:

www.bombardier-atv.com/en-US/Technology.htm

Check out the videos they have showing pulling capabilities of several utility ATVs. When the screen comes up for the ATV section you'll see the Outlander 800 featured. Click on "Power". Then click the pulling contest video.

It will become quite evident watching the video and you'll have your answer.
