I agree 100% with knowsalot about the 250cc crf engine. It just wouldn't be practical, not to mention those engines require a LOT of maintnance, they rev out a lot higher than the 450's.



As for dirtrider saying the 300ex needs liquid cooling for reliabilities sake, that is foolish. The 300ex is probably the most reliable quad out there, there is no need to change the design to make it more reliable. Any isser you have had with it is because of a faulty part or improper maintnance on your part.


Id say the 300ex will just get dropped and that will be the end of it. I see a lot of people buying used ones, but I hardly ever see any new ones purchased. Making it a 350 would be pointless because of the 400ex pretty much takes that category. It will be a shame to see it go, IMO it is the best recreational sport quad ever built.
