Default Mudlites?

I keep reading that Mudlites wear fast but what does that mean to a newbie. How many miles are we talking
about. I need new rear tires for a Recon any suggestions for an all terrain tire for the stock rim?

Mudlites are great all around tires...most tires made by ITP wear fast but its a while before you can really tell...the dirt devils are really heavy tires...i wouldnt put them on a 250 youll lose to much power...i like the Maxxis sur trak's, the kenda bear claws are nice lots of tread, and my favorite mud tire the Mud shark...any of those are great all around mud tires and are great for all types of terrian...

I've had a set on an 01 rancher for a couple years now. Tire wear is not noticeably worse than the oem bridgestone dirthooks but the performance is infinately better. I went with 26" XL's and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

i had mud lites on my honda and i put 3000 kilometers on them and they were still in great shape.
but my honda was full time 4 wheel drive.
if i had those on my 700 kawi thay would be bald in no time.
because im mostly in 2 wheel drive with that.
i also thought they were a good tire but i did not like them in the snow
they seemed to dig for traction and then you were hung up and stuck.
but in any other terrane thay worked great.
if you want a great for every kind of riding and at a great price get the mud bugs.
mud bugs, gators, or mud zillas.
all good tires.
