ill say this cause this is what i know. motor was built and installed in quad. sucked thru exhaust...wtf... pull top bolt that goes thru rocker cover to pull cover to check timing, turned over and whole top end lifted but only on one side cause of lil bolts on clutch side. so pulled head and the motor builder didnt install jug bolts...another wtf... so installed and torque bolts reinstall head and set cam timing and put thin gasket that motor builder forgot under rocker cover, loosen valve adj so i knew valves wernt held open by that, same deal. so pulled head again changed valves put back on fired right up ran it for 20 min or so and shut down so he could reinstall swingarm and such. he got rollin and he took for a ride said anything over half throttle chattered. ok i take for ride and sure enough chatter was headgasket i could feel it on my leg. does not leak at idle or anything below half throttle. It only has the wiesco 440 sleeve and piston, stock cam and shitty fmf exhaust.

 

all it needs is new head studs its an easy fix if you know what you are doing and how much is he asking is the other ? you need to look at and if he road it with a blown gasket it could have done more damage than what it may seem
