The little blaster has huge mod potential.
Porting, 240 kits, basically everything.
Even liquid cooling kits.
I have never owned one though so I cannot help you with the price of that stuff.
Use the forum search. "blaster mods" or something.

If you looking at a Blaster with a Vito's kit installed, you'd be spending what you could buy, say a 2000 400EX for. I'd take the 400EX

ok so lets say i get a blaster and then put the vito's mod on it will it compare to a 400ex? sadly i dont have the money to buy a 400ex so the blaster with mods will have to do

im not sure if the blaster would be a good 1st atv or not. because hes probably not used to mixing, and the blaster being a 2 stroke he'd have to rebuild sometime and that will cost more money.
ur best bet would be to maybe ride somebodies a few times to see if u really like riding or not. if u do, and im sure u will then u should go for a 4 stroke(im not saying 2 strokes are bad, just the fact that theres more maintenance to a 2 stroke), like somebody else said, maybe an older 250x, or 300ex. a warrior wouldnt be too bad either
