did you completely take the carb apart, or just spray carb cleaner in to it???
if you took it apart, go back and recheck that you've reassembled it correctly and that you've reconnected all hoses and vent tubes. double check that the choke is working properly. when i bought my brand new 300ex, it wouldnt run at the dealership. the choke had been installed wrong and it was working backward somehow.
if you just sprayed carb cleaner into it, you may have alot of it built up in the carb, try and let the quad idle for a while and let it clean itself out

o yeah i did take it completly apart because it had gelled up gas in there so i had to get that out and the floater was fine. The engine is getting gas because you can smell it from the exhaust, not like the pure form of gas but just a remnence of it. But do you think maybe some of the gelled gas is in my cylinder? I know my choke isn't on wrong because I've had the quad for about 5 years. But how would you tell if it is a bad choke?
