im assuming you meant the 250x, not ex. i liked the 250x pretty cool little bike. the 250r honda is old news ,these 4-strokes will eat them up all day long 450r,yfz,warrior,400ex,z400,clones,300ex, the r is beat and slow. technology has taken over boys. face it LOL see sig. below[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Yup. WAY past it's time... To bad the riders of all these new bikes can't ride at all... Maybe then they could keep up with my old 250R... One buddy just sold his yfz. He had over $10,000 in it. Last time I went riding with him a few months ago we did a little racing. The only time HE won was when he jumped the flag... His bike was FAST too. Both of us run 110 octane and have other modifications. All the stuff done to mine doesn't equal the price for the stuff done to his though. Therefore I can't say the new technology is to cost effective...

They can "run with the banshee" to an extent... If you mean drag racing you can go as fast as you can afford on anything. In the end a banshee will be faster as it has 2 pistons... As far as top speed, that is a moot point. You are not likely to find a 250R that hasn't had atleast a pipe change.
