okay, i hate it when some asks for the top speed of a quad, but my m8 used to have a trx250 and sold it as it was too powerful [lmao]. he said it was really fast and powerful. and i was wondering if any of you know the top speed of the 250cc beast. the quad was bone stock. also i was wondering if a blaster was faster than the 250, and where each quad is best suited. [ just to clear your minds of any thoughts that my friend is a middle aged man riding a 250 gettin s**t scared, wel hes was 15 at the time] - i still think he was a *****, because i ride a 660 rasptor and love the beast lol. anyway any help will be great and will allow me to put my friend in his place.!!! cheerz

well i will add to it with mynew found knowledge. i have read that a blaster should be compared to a 300ex. as this is closer. importnight has a vid, with his modded yfm350 trouncin the 300ex, but a stock 350ex got its arsed kickt by the 300ex. i think both were stock. does this mean that a blaster is faster than the yfm350? because form what i have read, then this is must be true, but how can it. if anyone understands then please exp this to me. cheerz

You can build a blaster to run with a 250R but why? A few years ago it was not a bad idea as the price of the Honda went through the roof, BUT it takes a lot of money(or skill) to get a blaster anywhere near as good a ride as the R. I consider a Blaster a good starter bike for someone that is just learning who wants a 2 stroke. IF you get it dirt cheap. Thing is that once you build it up that much, why not just have got a 250R or something else?
Side note, I ride a 250R and built a Blaster for my GF to learn 2 strokes on... See Pictures...
