Rincon 650. As soon as finances allow, I'll be moving up to the Rincon 680EFI.

No pics. What's the big deal? I don't spend all my time taking pictures, I spend my time actually riding my ATV.

Standing up for the Rincon? Where did that come from? If you go back and actually read my posts, I suggested that you wait for the Outty 650. Please tell me where I pushed the Rincon on you?

Man, is it that time of the month or what? Why the animosity towards me? Everything I have said has been to assure your safety and well being. Jesus, maybe nice guys really do finish last...

ATVtech1,
I can assure you it is not that time of the month. I just do not appreciate someone who has A) never met me B) never ridden w/ me too tell me I can not handle a 650 cc+ quad. What makes you such the expert? Especially when you need your fiances "permission" to buy something. Are you kidding me? I do & will always have my own account so I can buy whatever I like oh & pretty much always in cash at that. As long as the bills are paid (first priority). Hmmmmm do you smell something? I think I might?

Yeah I do smell something, and something tells me it is that time of the month.

Unbelievable.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you ride as well as you read, you'll have a hard time keeping that Outty 800 right side up.

I said as soon as "finances" allow. FINANCES, as in money.

So you pay everything in cash, eh? We're all very impressed... I guess when you have that kind of money to throw around, you don't mind changing bikes after a month of riding and taking a huge loss. You'll forgive me if I have to finance (FINANCE) every ATV I buy, I guess I'm part of the lower class of society.

Wow...

Ok, my bad. Read it wrong. Atleast I can admit when I made a mistake. Thought you needed the fiances permission. Finances I can understand. This is why I am so undeceided. The Outlander XT is what I REALLY want however I will be paying cash and I just paid cash for the TRX250EX a month and a half ago then had the upgrades and you are right now I am going to take a BIG loss on it. Plus finding a dealer who will take it as a trade and actually has a Bomb 800 XT is pretty hard I am finding. My dealer that we usually use does not sell Bombardier ATV's because they say they "are crap". If I go w/ anything besides a bomb I can trade in my ATV plus I have brand new ITP holeshot H-D tires still in the wrapper that they will let me exchange for new tires on the new quad. If I go w/ a Bomb I am taking even a BIGGER loss. I may go w/ a KQ just for this reason or something else. That is why I am on these forums to learn everything that I can so I do not make another bad decison. Not to be told that I can not handle a 650cc+ quad by someone who has no proof that he even rides.

WOW...BOY HAVE I MISSED ALOT....Just to let everyone know i started this thread about an 05 rincon. It is amazing how we all got way off track. While everyone was fighting on the thread i was out there riding my new rincon.(05).It is an awsome machine. The only thing i am not happy with is there are flat spots on the tires. I guess that is from sitiing a while .Honda has radials on the bike for a better ride.I rode a bf 650 last night. I was not impressed at all.I guess that belt issue was wierd.Oh and i forgot who said about the lag on the 4wd on the bf. You are right. I got stuck on a hill and slid down twice before the 4wd kicked in.That blows.Megan i would test out a bike before u buy.And dont be a guenea pig for a first year model of any thing. There are always issues to work out.Megan i have seen may bad spills out there and one true line is .THE BIGGER THEY ARE THE HARDER THEY FALL!!!!!You really dont need a800 bomb.to keep up with the fellas,Irode my 350 rancher and kept up. I raced my yz 250 with 500 and beat them. so size does not matter in this case.I will say get what you want but think about it and dont believe all the crapola on the net.Megan if u let me know when u guys are goin to pa.If i can i will meet u guys ther and u can ride all the different bike out there. my crew has all kinds of bikes.

Hi 2sly4u,
I like your name. Where in Pa do you ride. You can PM me if you like. We ride in the Pocono's area. More South East. So how are you liking the 05 Rincon so far? So how about one guy who does not even own a quad giving me advice and another one who has never even ridden w/ me telling me I can not handle a 650cc+ machine. Unbeliavable huh. Oh and what I really love is ATVtech1 went back and edited his remarks about once his fiance though he now says finaces allow him to get one?????? Things that make you go hmmmmm.

Megan,

I have probably done more research than almost anyone (many on here can atest to that!) and I have ridden PLENTY of quads in my lifetime. I listen and pay attn to what everyone has to say. My advice too you is not to down anyone....no ONE person has ALL the answers including me, YOU, or anyone else. My info to you was helpful and accurate. I never claimed or overpromised anything.

I also think it is funny that this "rookie" just received a PM back from Megan that states she is probably buying a KQ. I was the first one to say that I politely thought the 800's power wasn't going to be fully utilized on the trails and a 500cc-700cc like the Rincon (you had mentioned) and KQ (you had mentioned) would be more than fine.

I stuck to my guns on that when nobody else was even discussing it....they were all praising the 800. Now I get a PM that says you are most likely buying a KQ?

That's funny.

You have to be one hell of a firecracker for that man of yours. My God.
