Best nerf bars?

Personally, I don't like heel guards. They look funny, and I think they are unnecessary extra weight. If you are wearing boots, that's enough protection against getting your heel sucked into the tire.

I do mostly trail riding. I'm looking at standard nerf bars without the heal guards or pegs. I've noticed some of the mailorder companies are advertising free shipping on orders of $100 or more, so that may come into play. Does anyone know if the Tusk nerf bars sold by Rocky Mountain ATV are steel or aluminum?

Well i must agree with 'theturtle' because i think it's all about how it would look on ur bike.i didn't really care when i bought mine, i just thought steel was better then alum so i bought steel.....So i think it's simple, choose colour(steel will be mostly black,aluminum...well aluminum !!),nets colour, nerf shape and of course, price.
Have fun deciding
