midnite..... you are only partially right. some race fuels are oxygenated....such as tubo 112 or 114. there is a higher content of oxygen in the makeup of the fuel. tubo blue unleaded (which i have used) is not = same jetting.not trying to say its a huge difference ,but it is a fact. next time you are at a bulk station ask for spec sheets on the fuel....its amazing how different these fuels are from each other. i myself dont need exotic fuels for myself, but i would never use aviation fuel. turbo blue 106 octane is just a stable, powerfull fuel. the shelf life is 1 year compared to 6 months for pump gas. and its always the same... never changes the blend. dont know what jetting changes would be necessary, but im sure you dont need to use a bigger carb. many people use race fuels only for the consistancy of it, not for the octane number. and i am by no means an expert on fuels, just was researching before on making my own brew for the car. 94 octane im sure is plenty for your combo, and so is the stock carb. now if the snow would go away so i can ride mine !!!
