hey there everyone, My 01 rubicon is having a shifting problem. Ive troubleshot to the angle sensor i think, using the display . the question i have is, the book says the sensor should have between 1400 and 1600 ohms on the two outside pins checking with a meter, mine was open no continuity at all. So i figured problem solved, ordered a new one and that read the same as the old one, no continuity. Did i get a bad sensor . well i installed the sensor according to the book still wouldnt shift, checked the codes and had an 11. any ideas what i can try next, i tried a new ECM still same problem and same 11 code. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

 

Sort of same problem with mine, i have to check into the sensors now because we had to replace the control motor (the magnet inside clearly busted).

on tour one night and had to keep turning it off to reset itself but it was only temperary....

just though i'd let you know where i started to resolve the same problem as you
