I am not a Master Mechanic, nor do I play one on TV! But I have heard of water being sucked into the engine from the engine breather hose. can't remember what causes it, but there is a fix. Maybe someone else has some info.

neither am i any type of mechanic. If the water is getting sucked in through the breather hose. Have you ever heard about putting a snorkel on it? All you do is extend all the vent tubes and the air intake. Have you talked to your dealer about the problem ???

i used to ride in a lot of water never had much problems with my quad in water but if you go in water up over your exaust and the atv cuts of the muffler creates a vacum and sucks water right in to the engine if you dont go in that deep of water make sure both oil pugs are on tight if you still get water take atvto dealer and have them check out your motor gaskets they might be old or even bad that could cause water inside engine

try routing the breather hose into the airbox and seal it up good.
