Getting a Warn 2500 for Rubicon. Dirt Wheels mounted the rather large solonoid in the airbox and sealed the opening with silicone. Seems to be a dangerous way to go. Interested to hear what other Ruby owners have done.

Mine is mounted on the frame under the right rear
tire, right up near the back. Yes, it gets wet and muddy but works fine.

I mounted mine in the tool box, I ride to much in water and mud to mount it in the air box.

Mine is also mounted in the rear tool box. Mounted this way, you will still have ample room for tools, straps, etc....

So the solonoid or how ever you spell it, you can get them wet and mudy and they will not malfunction?
