Default What does 06' HRC kit include??

Hi,
I know what it comes with but I had a couple questions. Does the cam provide general increases over entire range or more dedicated towards bot, mid or top? What does the sub harness/rev wire do? Jet bypass for carb, whats that exactly? Im debating whether or not I should get this kit installed when I get it; otherwise plans are fullexhaust, k&n w/lid off, dynojets and then later on down the road just stick a webcam in it. Oh I also heard it comes with a headpipe...is that any good and could I use any slip on with that? Thanks. Does it come with 1 size standard jets or it comes with a bunch cause I ride at 2400 feet above sea level and higher.

Default 06' HRC kit...

honestly man, i donno i bought my 450R with an HRC kit already installed. and from what i see in its manual, and from what other people say, it mainly gives more top end.. (like it really needs it anyway) other then that i dont know much about it. if i were you, instead of paying that $300 or whatever it costs, just get an exhaust system and K&n filter,

ask yourself this, is it really worth $300 for a cam? and a little more top end, a stock 450R has plenty top end. it needs lowend more then anything. it needs that snapy lowend like them YFZs have.

Default 06' HRC kit...

On the 06 its great I would do it again If I bought another one. The head pipe will work with a slip on and the cam is considered to be a very good cam, also the sub harness helps alot for more rpm. The jetting is spot on. I realy like how quite it is with the HRC kit I can ride anywhere without problems. I even ride the roads in town at night with the freesh snow and not one complaint about noise

Default 06' HRC kit...

Thanks for the info guys. I decided to not get the HRC kit (they have one on ebay for an 06' for $200 US, no reserve and $12.50 shipping: not a bad deal when it normally retails for $369 US) just cause I feel it is more for duners and guys who ride in a lot of noise sensitive areas and want a little more power from using same can: so honda gives you a cam, little bit better sounding/flowing tip, headpipe etc. Id rather buy a full system where the header is designed more or less for the can. For now Ill just get full exhaust and k&n....next winter ill stick a cam in it if I feel like it needs one.
