Make sure they/you adjust you idle up a little from stock. The idle adjust **** is under your right upper frame rail just above your cylinder. If your shop has a dyno, you might want to have them check your pilot jet and see if it needs to be stepped up to a 45 from stock. The HRC kit for 06 models doesn't adjust the pilot jet up and it may be necessary. When you stall it, do you give it any gas when hitting the starter button?

I know I'm a little late in responding and you may not even read this, but in case you do here goes. I have an '06 R. I've got the HRC kit in (which rocks), K&N, no lid (it's removed when the HRC kit is installed), HMF Carbon Fiber pipe and had it jetted and dynoed professionally. The trick I found to starting my bike is this... don't give it any gas when you crank it over. I rode a 400EX for 4 years and you had to give it a little gas to start it every time. If you give the 450R any gas (on mine), it won't start. This was true before I put the HRC kit on. I rode it for 2 months with the HRC kit installed before I put my HMF on. After every mod I did to it, it started everytime with ease if I didn't give it gas. The choke is amazing on this bike. Choke it, let it idle, turn it off and I'm good every time. If I kill it or stall, it may take a crank or two, but if I don't get on the gas I'm good to go shortly. I only give it a little gas once it's turned over and running. I've tested this on 3 other '06 Rs and it worked the same.
