Default LIFT KIT

Just the other day my buddie was riding his atv when his rear shock absorber broke. I noticed that when it broke somehow it caused the atv to stay fully extended up. The atv looked like it had a lift kit. Well seeing how his atv looked I wondered that with a lift kit is there tension on the drive shaft? I don't really want to put any strain on the drive shaft. The biggest reason I want to lift it about two inces is that there is a mud pit by my house that I keep bottom out on. I believe with a few more inches I will be ok. I seen a few lift kits on ebay. Any response on how they are? Here it is

Default LIFT KIT

Tires are gonna get you more clearance not the lift kit that just gives you clearance for bigger tires.
